TWO METERING SYSTEMS COMBINED FOR MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE

- CAMÉLÉON : Metering with a 12 or 24 l/min piston type volumetric pump driven by a 24 V DC electric motor (powered directly from the batteries of the carrier vehicle).

FLEXIBILITY OF USE

- Forest fires : Use with water only or with additives, in a wide range of outputs from small 150 l/min nozzles to 2,000 l/min cannons.

- Industrial fires : Possibility of using a vehicle with a 2,000 l/min cannon, mounted on the roof or on a remote holder, with major hydraulic possibilities for water or foam (the foam equipment is taken into account by the French regional industry, research and environment agencies as from 2,000 l/min).

- Fires close to hazard zones : Use of one or more nozzles with water only or water with additives, in compliance with the orders given by the crew manager.

EFFICIENCY

Water with wetting/foaming additives optimizes extinguishing and gives the same results using only half to one-third as much water.

This means that with a tank containing 10,000 litres of water and with 200 litres of wetting agent, one vehicle is as efficient as three ordinary water tank vehicles containing 10,000 litres each.

COMPACT AND REASSURING

This concept enables integration of all metering functions on a single, highly compact unit. Thus CTD controls the full design and quality testing procedure for the equipment it supplies. The equipment installer’s work is made easier and faster. The customer can be sure that the equipment is reliable and efficient, and that it is very well installed.
