THE ADVANTAGES OF THE "CAMELEON" SYSTEM

CAMELEON metering systems can be fed either from one or more tanks fitted by the equipment installer, or from an ancillary tank (class A or B or A and B) located in a locker. The tank capacities can vary depending on the type of vehicle and the type of product.
The two-man teams no longer have to carry product containers, so they can be given other tasks.

This means less handling and transport of equipment.

Because metering is carried out mechanically and the mixing process takes place in the feed line, the equipment usually carried by the two-man teams when installing a foam nozzle (proportioners, product containers, etc.) is no longer required.
The standard manoeuvres for two-man teams are modified.

Avoids problems stemming from equipment incompatibilities.

As the metering in % or ‰ is carried out at the level of the vehicle, the risk of using the wrong proportioner for a given foam nozzle (made under the same brand name) is completely eliminated.

The absence of pressure loss increases the maximum hose layout length.

Because the foam liquid is injected directly under pressure in the feed line, overall hose length is no longer a limiting factor.
The firefighters are no longer limited to 3 hose lengths at most after the proportioner.
The injection system avoids pressure loss, thus increasing maximum hose layout length.
